Common Technologies
One of the problems with many backup programs is the difficulty in retrieving data. Not so with Backtrack. It uses the virtually universal WinZip technology. Many backup routines are complex. You may well have a sophisticated backup system that backs up all the company records each night. Backtrack may well still have a very useful place in your company due to the fact that it is designed to operate from a simple push button menu at any point in time.
Excellent for just before the month end roll, so that if something goes amiss we have easy access to the last moment before the roll. Also good if you want to save the database at intervals during the day for security purposes (say a lunch time back up to secure the mornings work). Backtrack saves the data in a compressed format, up to 90% compression of the backed up data, to a directory on the network, and Backtrack dates the backup as it saves it.

Automates Conversion of Sales Orders to Purchase Orders
Back to Back Orders Vision Module easily converts sales orders to purchase orders with or without consolidation and automatic transmission to suppliers. In a standard Vision install the user is required to manually enter sales and purchase orders separately. This module allows the client to automate this process.
Reduces Time Spent
Back to Back Orders greatly reduces this time intensive process, by providing the facility to set sales order items to be ordered from suppliers without the need to rekey a new purchase order into Vision. Each order item can be ordered from a different supplier, with all the items for each supplier consolidated into a single order, which can be printed and sent to the supplier by fax or e-mail. The resulting purchase order is automatically created in Vision. Users can specify urgent sales and purchase orders, which will be transmitted immediately to suppliers by the chosen transmission method.______________________________________________________________________________________
